Birthday Card Class with Julie Ramos

I had a blast today at a birthday card class. It was taught by Julie Ramos she's an awesome Stampin' Up Demonsrator. We used 1/2 of a Happy B-Day Simply Scrappin Kit to make 8 cards and also a box to put them in. There was still a ton of product left over to take home. I invited a friend from work who has never paper crafted before. She was hesitant at first, but as soon as she got the hang of it she was whipping those cards out in no time. She can't wait for Spring Splendor !! You can visit Julie's blog at stampyourdream.blogspot.com and you can visit our meetup group by clicking on the meetup icon at the top right of this blog.

The Goodwill Pictures

Goodwill Find

While passing some time I stopped at our local goodwill to see if they had any good finds for my craft room. I didn't find much, but I did find a navy blue Pioneer 12 x 12 scrapbook, some cute colorful index cards for journaling, and a bread tin for my alcohol inks and re-inkers. All under $5.50. I will post the pictures sometime today.

I Was Supposed to Make Cards ...

Instead I ended up labeling all my Stampin' Up Ink and daubers. I am so in love with the Stampin' Up daubers. I am an inker. I love to ink up everything. Recently I have been trying my hardest to make cleaner cards without all the inking. No matter how hard I try I always go back to it. I also labeled my homemade glimmer mists that I made with a loose glimmery mica based eye shadow, water, and my SU in color re-inkers.

I guess I should start making labels for my order that should be coming in very soon (clap clap). I ordered the Soft Subtles classic ink set. Just two more sets to complete the 4. I can't wait to see what the new in colors are gonna be.

Just some cards I made right now. As you can tell my favorite color is black. The colors used are Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry.

Glitter Sample Pack Storage

I've had these glitter sample packs that I bought from Michaels for awhile now. I've never opened them, because I didn't really have a good storage solution for them until now. I found these infant medicine cups at Biglots the other day. They are the perfect size and also close tight.

Catching up on my scrapbooking

Here are some of my recent pages. I have tons of pages with my nephew on them, but I have to ask his mom first if it's okay to put them up. Does anyone know how to blur a face out?
